Lumber Company we provide sustainable harvests of timber through
selective cutting methods and sound forestry management. It is well
known that a well managed forest will provide a sustainable yield
of wood products, wildlife, recreation and water indefinitely.
At Doll
Lumber we accomplish this in these ways:
We use only professionally trained employees.
We take great pride in these individuals who are certified by the
Ohio Forestry Association. This means we use NO "CONTRACT
LOGGERS ".
Our certified foresters
can inspect your wood lot and devise a management plan to meet the
land owner's objectives. He can also provide valuable information
at this time so the landowner will understand all options available.
We buy timber and logs
within an approximate 75 mile radius of our yard.
The forester can usually appraise your lot at no charge.
Our forester can
plan a timber sale.
This includes: a management plan , a written contract, layout
of skid roads and log landings and an advance payment for timber.
